The client's challenge, Move2Cloud's approach, the outcome.

BNP Paribas, Engie, Europcar, Kering, Lefebvre Sarrut, MACIF Group: how Move2Cloud supports its clients on their cloud and Kubernetes projects.

BNP Paribas

Challenge

Keep critical banking services running through technical failures and cyberattacks.

Our approach

  • Audit of the critical applications, the infrastructure and the network on IBM Cloud
  • Review of access management (IAM), backups and data protection
  • Crisis simulations and business continuity plans

Outcome

Stronger operational resilience on IBM Cloud, with systems able to absorb disruption without impacting clients.

Engie IT

Challenge

Modernize aging WordPress sites hosted on Azure virtual machines, held back by weak scalability and cost inefficiency.

Our approach

  • Containerisation of the WordPress sites on Azure Container Apps
  • Databases migrated to Azure Database for MySQL (DMS), files with AzCopy
  • Terraform and Terragrunt infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Azure Monitor

Outcome

A modern containerized architecture on Azure (Container Apps, Terraform, CI/CD, Azure Database for MySQL), more resilient and future-ready.

Europcar Mobility Group

Challenge

Run several brands' services on one platform able to absorb seasonal peaks, with little in-house Kubernetes expertise.

Our approach

  • A Kubernetes platform shared by the brands on Amazon EKS, with capacity following the load
  • GitOps delivery with CI/CD pipelines integrated with Kubernetes
  • Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), team training and managed support

Outcome

A multi-tenant Kubernetes platform on Amazon EKS, delivered with GitOps, monitored and operated with Move2Cloud's managed support.

Kering SRE

Challenge

Build a tailored Well-Architected review framework that's technically rigorous and adopted across diverse teams.

Our approach

  • Workshops with stakeholders to frame needs and priorities
  • A custom Well-Architected lens, developed in JSON and documented
  • Review sessions, risk reports and periodic reassessments

Outcome

A continuous improvement process embedded in Kering's culture, aligning every architectural decision with strategic objectives.

Lefebvre Sarrut

Challenge

Adapt monolithic, stateful legacy applications to containers without service disruption.

Our approach

  • A path chosen application by application: lift-and-shift, refactoring or splitting
  • State taken out of the applications: files on Amazon S3, data on Amazon RDS
  • Scanned Docker images, deployment on Amazon EKS with Helm, Jenkins pipelines

Outcome

One path per application, from lift-and-shift to refactoring, to Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS, validated on a pilot before scaling up.

Groupe MACIF

Challenge

Evolve Macif.fr and its sales funnels quickly, without degrading the availability of a heavily visited site.

Our approach

  • CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to automate build, tests and deployment
  • Applications in Docker containers on Kubernetes, infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible
  • Releases, monitoring and day-to-day operations of Macif.fr

Outcome

DevOps expertise alongside development teams: Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes containers, Ansible and Terraform automation, production releases and keeping production running.
